A classic Scottish thistle needle minder to keep your needles safe. These magnets are a great way to keep track of your needles - making it easy to pick up and put down your stitching without losing anything pointy.

The needle minder is enamel, with gold accents highlighting the green and purple thistle design. The two magnets keep it in place on your fabric. Simply separate the magnets, sandwich your fabric between them, and stick your needle to it whenever it's not in use.

Pretty thistle

It’s a very pretty thistle. A smidge bigger than I would like it to be but it’s bright and pretty. I took one star off because I do not feel the magnet is very strong. It does hold the needle but I noticed in areas of dense cross stitching I can easily knock the thistle from its back magnet. I have other needle minders that keep such a tight grasp that you have a very difficult time sliding it across the fabric or stitches despite its density. In the picture below… if the acorn front and back were any closer to each other, it would connect. As for the thistle … even though they were touching there was no magnetic connection at that point.

Ready, set, stitch!
