All Hawthorn Handmade kits are packed by hand in Dorset, UK. Each comes with high quality materials and tools including British wool which has been carefully picked for its needle felting qualities, stainless steel needles from Germany and a unique dense foam working surface that will withstand hours and hours of felting.

Needle felting is an incredibly therapeutic craft and it is really easy to learn the basics. You get the wool into the shape you want such as a ball, then you stab it multiple times with the barbed needles. The needles push the fibers together felting them into place and creating a solid piece. You can then add details and join pieces together all using the felting needles (no sewing!) It sounds like magic but it really works!

Kit contains sharp needles and is only suitable for ages 14+ or with adult supervision.
