This kit comes with a pocket-sized Mini Loom, a needle, a comb, and colorful thread assortment "ASOBI ITO" to enjoy weaving right away.

You can enjoy making original accessories and decorations with the finished small weavings.

Even small children, for whom needles and scissors are not yet safe, can experience the joy of making while having fun with their parents, which nurtures their creativity.

Eco Friendly Product
The Mini Loom and the Comb are made from 51% scallop shells. The needle is made of high strength paper. These items can be disposed of as combustible waste, making the kit an earth-friendly product.

ASOBI ITO is an assortment of five colorful and cute threads. The product is made by recycling leftover threads from various apparel products.
One ASOBI ITO can be used to make one or two weavings of approximately 3 cm (width) x 5 cm (height). The number of pieces depends on how you weave.

It ain’t a Rembrandt

In 1971 I purchased my first loom—a solid wood four shaft frame loom (yes!) called the Good Karma loom ($20.) I found it in the Whole Earth Catalog and the world of textiles opened for me. Fifty three years later, I work with a stable of looms of many different varieties. This mini loom is a bit like comparing a doodle to a drawing by Rembrandt but why waste time comparing when you could be playing with yarn. This little cutie can go anywhere with you and allow you to keep playing with color and fiber almost every where you go. Like most things textile, it’s just plain fun. Just don’t lose that tiny beater.

So happy I Found This

Anything little is my jam, so when I saw this, I knew I had to give it a try. I am so glad I did! It has taken me a few tries to get the hang of it, especially how to weave all the way from the very bottom to the very top. I still am learning but this opens up an new world of fiber possibilities. Give it a try or give it as a gift with some of the thread packs and you will be the new favorite gift giver!
